NOTE: This blog post was about the closing of the Downtown Studio due to COVID.
Namaste to everyone!
After eleven amazing years in this community space, I made a very difficult and heartfelt decision to close the Yoga for Wellness studio at 220 6th St S in Great Falls. It has tugged at me through this pandemic of COVID and it has been very difficult to stay open financially.
Change is one of the most difficult things we can do in this life. The resistance we all experience about making changes is what teaches us to let go. For two months I spent time with the emotions of closing. The back and forth, the unknown, to stay open or to close. The time to process all of this is what needed to happen for me to shift into a new energy of being able to let go and move on. This created space for me to see the endless opportunities of the future! So whatever changes are going on in your life, when the fear and anxiousness is there, be with it. This too will pass and it is ok you are in a place of change. Have some compassion for yourself to be ok with it and find joy in the new beginnings!
I am taking time to create the new future of Yoga for Wellness. I miss teaching and being with you all. I’m exploring some potential spaces so we can come together once again for in person yoga. Also, we are offering another 4-week virtual yoga course, via Zoom, starting October 13. Weekly classes will be an hour long, each Tuesday at 10:30 am and recorded so you can re-watch them later. Cost for the fall program is $60. These virtual classes will focus on gathering the self-care tools we all need as we prepare for the coming winter. Contact Candace via email at ceweeda@gmail.com or call/text Pam at 406-799-3557 to secure your spot.
All of the personal yoga props that were left at the studio are now here with me at the Yoga Farm. I will keep them for you until the new location is determined or you can contact me to arrange pickup anytime. I also have props for sale if you need anything to support your at-home practice. There were also some unused class punch cards and I will honor those as soon as we create a new space.
I am excited about the future of teaching again. When we know more details, we will update our Facebook and website. Please know you can always reach out to me personally to touch base. I would love to connect and welcome your ideas about the future. Stay well and nourished!
With gratitude and love,
Pam
