This year’s Yoga Camp for Kids took place on June 11 and 12th, and 13 children of a range of ages eagerly arrived to spend time at the Yoga Farm. The theme involved learning and understanding the life of a honeybee and reflecting it upon their own life.
The children were introduced to Yoga, art and tipi-time as tools for self-care, and they learned about processing emotions. They were encouraged to feel each emotion, and to let go of emotions that they hold inside. Each child was able to express how they feel, and to let it go.
I look forward to the next opportunity to share the Yoga Farm with the children . Stay tuned for the next scheduled events coming this fall!
